Double Glazed Windows

Why are double glazed windows so good? Because if you install them in your home you have a layer of air or an inert gas which is trapped between two panes of glass. These gases are chosen because they are poor conductors of heat which means that much less heat is lost through the window and in the long term could save on your energy bills, keeping your home warmer and quieter.
